Laser Welding

Precision welding without thermal distortion of the material and without filler material

In laser welding, the minimal heat input makes it possible to create very small welds without thermal distortion of the material.

Steels with a carbon content of less than 0.2% are suitable for this process.
Tantalum, titanium, nickel, bronze, and iron-nickel alloys can also be welded.
Thermal pulse forming enables the welding of dissimilar materials.
Even highly reflective materials such as gold, platinum, and copper can be welded with a laser.
After welding, no post-processing of the weld seam is usually necessary.
