Due to the low heat effect, the laser allows very small welds without thermal material distortion. After laser welding there is no need for any post-processing of the material.

The laser welding is suitable for steels with a carbon content of less than 0.2%. Other weldable materials are tantalum, titanium, nickel, bronze and iron / nickel alloys.
